Use the phone's back button as back button? #20

Are you using Boxee or XBMC?
Boxee

Would it be possible to use the phone's hardware back button as a back button
in boxee, without leaving the app?

It's possible, but i'm not sure if it's something I personally would like.

Implementing this would make BoxeeRemote different from other android apps,
which normally you go backwards in the phone when you hit that button. When it
behaves abnormally, it may confuse or frustrate users, who would be forced to
use
the Home button to leave the app.

Thus, I would prefer to make the application behave more like a normal android
app
with normal hardware Back button behavior.

Are you trying to do something that you can't accomplish with the on-screen
button?

Others may disagree. What does everyone think?

There was some discussion of this on Issue 7
