Why do you want to join the maintainers organization?

Joining this organization would allow me to find like-minded people and ask for guidance in regards to open source, maintaining my OSS project, funding, and a whole lot more. Having additional mentorship would help me run my project more effectively and also share my knowledge on my discoveries along the way.
