New flights-sidebar design proposal #55

Dear maintaner & Simaware users.

I want to propose a new design for the flights-sidebar. This is built in the style of what Flightradar24 looks like. image

There are 3 'small' things that I don't have the skills to make.

  1. Make the image dynamic, so we see the picture of the aircraft type (maybe user submitable content later?)
  2. Get the airline name under the callsign to match the ICAO name.
  3. The departing times and arrivaltimes needs to be dynamic

I know that point nr 2. should be possible since there is a function already for getting the airline name but again I'm not a coder by day.

If anyone has feedback I can make the necessary changes and upload pictures.

Hello,

This will need a bit more work before I can merge this in. While I appreciate the effort, we would need to maintain our own repository of aircraft photos as well.
