ARI, the farmland cover dataset, produced by the Ministry of Agriculture (OMAFRA) is not open data and might be 30 years out of date but there are datasets from the ministry that are, available hhttps://www.appliometadata.lrc.gov.on.ca/geonetwork/srv/en/main.home under "Open Data"

I have downloaded a list of Meat Plants, but because the Ministry didn't doublecheck before uploading, I only have them in .kml format and need to do some scrubbing to recover the attribute tables.

We should be interested in TeraNet's POLARIS parcel dataset (called 'Ontario Parcel (OP)' by [http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/LIO/2ColumnSubPage/STEL02_167960.html] the ministry ), which we can get [http://www.lib.uwaterloo.ca/locations/umd/digital/teranet.html] via the Geospatial library. We have to go during hours though (before 4:30 most days) and sign a usage agreement.
