I added a few (sometimes bold) statements that you may want to review. Looking forward to your thoughts.
What is the difference between the Data Descriptor and other articles in the data section?
How will it be ensured that the minimum requirements are met? I think we agreed that there should be an additional question to reviewers. Do we need another document with additional guidelines for reviewers?
I think we may also want to include some guidance on how to refer to an individual dataset (uuid) in the main guidelines.
In my recent submission with Nature SDATA they were very insistent on the use of the word data in the plural form, i.e. “data are” instead of “data is”.
I am not 100% sure of the scope of the Software article. Is it more open source oriented and will it be a requirement to publish the code with it? To me this seems like the natural equivalent to the Data Descriptor. Otherwise we may end up promoting Simapro 9.0.1 etc.
Great work!
