I recommend the GNU GPL v3 for all projects. It guarantees the rights and freedoms of every user of the software to the fullest extent possible, which works towards making the world a better place for everyone to live in.

Code that are reused from somwhere are... well under some license.

Code authored by me are either "public domain" or MIT. When in doubt use MIT as suggested in issue #1.
