Buzzer implementation #536

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Hello,
We could use a buzzer on the copter to make its operations easier. Buzzer could
sound with a different way for the following operations for instance:
- arming of motors
- disarming of motors
- 3D GPS fix
- switch from one flight mode to the other
- increasing/decreasing altitude on ALT-Hold mode
- battery low level
- lost of RC signal
- etc...
Thanks

Hi there

Great plan. I hope that someone with more knowledge than myself can implement
all of the above.

This will be a low cost solution to a lot of issues. It is difficult to see the
LEDs for arming motors and gps through the dark apm covers.

Once again, great idea.

One buzzer for all

Hi @ all !!

I'm really surprised that there is no feature like a low voltage buzzer alarm
oO

To be honest, imho this is a must have to protect the LiPo and the copter (even
KK 2.0 can do this!!). Well there is such a feature in the MP, but I think that
a laptop shall not be required to operate my quad (just as an option) ^^.

OK .. enough nagging for today .. is there a "recomended" workaround/patch to
get at least a low voltage buzzer for arducopter 2.9.1 as long it isn't in the
stock code!?
