bitlbee: secret chat repetition, no html tags for images, file transfer broken

I'm facing the following problems with bitlbee: -secret chats: chat partner repeats everything I say -inline images: only displayed as empty lines - no html tags whatsoever (though saved under downloads) -media other than inline images: I get a file transfer through xfer and when I accept it (A), weechat disconnects from bitlbee. (i.e. it crashes)

I built telegram-purple like instructed in the README, no special options. Debian Jessie BitlBee-LIBPURPLE 3.4.2+20160823+master+52-g2dc394c-git Weechat 1.5

I can't confirm the secret chat bug, but the inline image issue is present, and currently bitlbee downloads these automatically by default, which since it would probably be on a headless device, might not be a sane default.

Another issue has arisen too, chats aren't syncing. I can get the backlog when I log out and log into my Telegram account, but it will either not bounce new posts, or it will for a short time (10mins~) and then stop. Purging and reinstalling bitlbee hasn't helped.

These are mostly bitlbee bugs, not telegram bugs. No idea about the secret chats thing or the backlog thing.

The inline image issue is https://bugs.bitlbee.org/ticket/1192

The file transfer bugs look a lot like what was mentioned in #320 which is now fixed in bitlbee git.

In the future please try to avoid putting several unrelated issues in the same ticket.

This isn't bitlbee issue, I've the same in Pidgin.

About the first entry (bug): Found the same issues #310, #340, #363, #398 (mine) - they must be linked. Many users have the same issues.
