From the Telegram group discussion, this may help make it clearer to new users that this isn't a stand alone program.

Header Description: A plugin to enable Telegram support for Pidgin, Adium, Finch and other Libpurple based messengers. (Optionally add: Not a stand alone program.)

Telegram-purple is a Libpurple protocol plugin that adds support for the Telegram messaging protocol to existing messengers like Pidgin, Adium, Finch and others.
