Feature: Replace with [Image] notation #3

I love the plug-in. Would second the idea of removing only selected/not selected, but it is a big help as is!

Another suggestion is to replace the removed image with a notation like [image] so that the reader knows there used to be an image there. I've noticed that when the image is removed sometimes a caption remains. With the image gone, it is sometimes hard to figure out the difference between the caption and the main narrative. The [image] notation would help make this clear.

Yep, I also liked this idea and I will be implementing it soon.

I like this but I think I should ask on the forum first and get others opinions on this.

Can you please provide sample input for this so that I can test it ?

Yes! Please  Being able to convert all <img> tags with proper ![](:/...) ones would be such a relief and time saver.
