I am glad @hp6393 that my plugin was useful to you.
Would second the idea of removing only selected/not selected
Yep, I also liked this idea and I will be implementing it soon.
replace the removed image with a notation like [image]
I like this but I think I should ask on the forum first and get others opinions on this.
when the image is removed sometimes a caption remains
Can you please provide sample input for this so that I can test it ?
Sure, here is an example taken from https://www.whiskeyuniv.com/t-b-ripy
After stripping out the last image it would look like this:
...stayed on as Plant General Manager until late 1972.

When Campari America (Wild Turkey’s parent Company) introduced the Whiskey Baron’s Collection its first brand was named after...
Yes! Please
Being able to convert all <img>
tags with proper ![](:/...)
ones would be such a relief and time saver.
I love the plug-in. Would second the idea of removing only selected/not selected, but it is a big help as is!
Another suggestion is to replace the removed image with a notation like [image] so that the reader knows there used to be an image there. I've noticed that when the image is removed sometimes a caption remains. With the image gone, it is sometimes hard to figure out the difference between the caption and the main narrative. The [image] notation would help make this clear.
