8 months ago If the chunk bug you mention is the flashing color error that happens on Intel GPUs, then Neodymium is not required for that anymore, CoreTweaks on its own should fix it.
As for the freeze, I'm not aware of any mod that could be causing that. Your friend could use VisualVM to help determine the cause. Here's a step by step guide if you want to try it:
- Start VisualVM
- Double click the Minecraft process in the left sidebar (if you're not sure which one it is, restart the game while keeping an eye on VisualVM, the one that pops up as the game starts is the one)
- Open the Sampler tab and click the "CPU" button
- Wait for a bit. Around 10 seconds should be enough.
- Click the "Stop" button.
- You can now browse the results, the culprit should appear on the client or server thread. But you'll probably want to send the data to me.
- Press the "Snapshot" button
- In the tab that appears, click the dropdown button with the floppy icon and select "Export Snapshot Data"
- Select an export location
- Attach the exported file in this issue
My friend uses neodymium to fix a chunk bug (don't really know how it works) or something, but when other friend of mine uses it, his game freezes on the spawn screen
We tried downloading coretweaks to see if it fixes anything but no results, so i would like to know if there is any alternative mod like neodymium that could fix my first friend's problem while don't create a new one to my second?
i don't know if any of these mods might have an incompatibility with neo but i will send it anyway
