How to verify that signed xml is valid or not

Hi,

I have signed xml document by using xades4j api  properly.
Now my task is to validate/verify that signed document so that i can upload it 
on government site that is also approve or verify this signed document by their 
own utility/verifier.

So tell me how i can validate that signed xml document.
What are the steps in which i have to wrtie code for that solutions.
I am waiting for your valuable suggestion
