I've setup an old iMac with OS X Mavericks and a clean mhvgovhack user. Was going to put linux on it, but that seemed like it was going to be more work.
It has homebrew to make it easy to install other things.
I'm most of the way through installing GitLab as a fallback option from Github. Got some errors to sort out, and need to hook it up to apache.
If we have internet, it will just have a web browser with the dashboard in it.
Depending where @mbainrot has got to in setting up his server, any server bits on the iMac might be redundant.

I'll bring it in tomorrow night (Tuesday).
