Recently upgraded to Mac Ventura (OS 13.2) - same issue. Re-downloaded and can't get it to open at all. Anyone know if there are patches or updates coming to the Mac version?
We have limited Mac expertise. You mention Ventura, but do not mention whether you are on a newer M1 or M2 Mac or an older Intel processor. I know that some other progrms are undergoing growing pains related to the newness of the processor and not just related to the OS version.
My own Mac has reached an age where I can't upgrade the OS past Catalina, so I can't personally answer you question.
Can you provide information regarding to you Mac’s architecture (Intel or Apple Silicon)? Also please provide logs if available (See this).
Hi, thank you. It won’t even open - on the dock I get a black dot under the app icon and then it’s gone.
I’m on a new 2023 Mac mini - M2 Pro chip, running Ventura OS 13.2.
I have MakeHuman running on an older laptop so have been using that.
Appreciate all that you do - MakeHuman is really great and I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it.

Thank you for your response. I am able to use MakeHuman 1.2.0 on macOS Ventura 13.3.
What's the version of MakeHuman build you're using? Did you download it from the release page?
It's very hard to tell what's wrong without logs. Even if you can't fully launch the application, you may still be able to see the log file at: ~/Documents/MakeHuman/v1py3/makehuman.log.
Thank you Eray. I just updated to macOS 13.3.1 and downloaded the 120mac release. It has the same effect. I’ve attached the log file - thank you for pointing out its location. The last modification date is February 7, which appears to be the last time I used MakeHuman before I upgraded to my new Mac. So I don’t know if it will be helpful - doesn’t seem like it’s logging there. I’ve also attached a crash report from Console that might have information.

I can't get makehuman to open on my old mac (10.10.5). Is this a known issue? The icon shows up on my dock as being open (and also in "force quit") but there is no work window on my desktop, nor does the name show up in the upper left corner of the screen when I click on the icon.
