[feature]: iCal Calendar Exports / Links #1005

Is there an existing issue for this?

Summary

I would love to see a way to caldav-style-access current issues (maybe only assigned to the user himself). Of course, this also requires issues to have an optional start-data, as their placement in the calendar would otherwise somewhat useless.

I imagine a user being able to retrieve an ical-link to be subscribed e.g. into Google Calendar / Nextcloud to allow for cross-platform access to issues on plane. This link(s) could then be customized in the UI to e.g. only display issues assigned to him, up to the next x days, unassigned, higher priority etc.

Why should this be worked on?

This feature extends the integration with external platforms and eases the interaction with existing infrastructures. This is also the single missing feature from a competitor, slowing my migration down...

I would like to see this feature as well. Viewing my deadlines in Outlook would be great, that way I have them in the same place as my meetings.

Hey @simonmicro, thank you for raising the feature request. Our team will brainstorm around it, and we will keep you updated on any developments.

Thanks!

Likewise, would love to see CalDAV support so I can see my tasks within Thunderbird next to my calendar.

+1 for CalDAV. Display/creating/managing calendar and tasks via thunderbird or iOS Calendar/Reminders would be awesome!
