MKS UPS24V: PSU doesn't start #17

I tried to install the MKS UPS24V I received into my printer, but if I do it, the power supply immediately shuts down as I power it up. I guess overcurrent protection shuts it down, because even my lab power supply shuts down due to too high current. I have to start it from something like 5V and gradually increase the voltage until it reaches 24V to be able to use this module, but obviously I can't do that with the printer's PSU (ender 6's default PSU, it should handle up to 15A on 24V). Any idea what can I do? Is the user manual/schematics available somewhere? The link in github readme is broken.

I have a similar problem, I think that my power supply is protected by overcurrent, has anyone found a solution?
