3 years ago I finally found a solution. installing the CH340 driver allowed pronterface to see the printer. https://support.th3dstudio.com/hc/downloads/drivers/ch340-drivers-th3d-uno-creality-v1-1-x-v4-2-x-board/
I've been trying to connect my printer via usb to send g-code commands and can't get either pronterface or Cura to recognize it. I get a notification that Windows is installing drivers when I connect, so I know the usb port and cable are working. Windows fails to find a driver though. Is there a driver file available for these boards? I have the E3D v1.1
