Hi, How can we configure linear advance in MKS Robin Nano? LIN_ADVANCE

makerbase-mks commented 4 years ago

Hi! Are you use marlin2.0 or Nano's firmware? If it is marlin2.0, then you can directly set it in configuration_adv.h, if it is the motherboard's own firmware, it may not be supported yet.

I am using Nano's firmware. I don't want to loose the fancy UI of the firmware because I use a touchscreen.

Unfortunately changing thi setting in MKS 2 firmware causes several errors during compilation in stepper.cpp Could you advise the ways to resolve?

I have never worked on Marlin before. But Teaching Tech on youtube has an extensive explanation on how to setup linear advance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5jjwBqARpo
