MKS Robin Nano v3.1, what the heck has happened? #167

I have printers unning nano v1.3, v3.0, with TMC2209's TFT35, TS35 and probably sevral others, as an IT pro I can easily configure Marlin Klipper etc on each board, but the Robin Nano v3.1 s just a different animal that does not follow the rules.

Bltouch for examle simple & straight forward on all other boards will not play with v3.1, it appears that v3.1 does everything differently, errors compiling v3 same configuration to v3.x include Missing fonts reports that TS35 does not support same facilities it supports on v3.

I find similar error in both Marlin & Klipper it is almost as if the v3.1 board is not what firmware was expecting, but consistently so over many firmwae flavours, what's gone wrong with this board, I'm almost calling it a defeat & throwing in a BTT Octopus Pro which will be complete overkill. (But it will work as exppected)

The character set encoding used on MKS TS35 v2.0 & many others no longer supported by Marlin cannot find again on marlin site that still claims screen is supported. MKS offering great deals on hardware that Marlin will not support after 2.09 something. MKS dump off in sales while keeping it quiet, its on Marlin site but could not find again a moment ago no more time to waste. Buyer Beware!!

Printers with MKS boards & LCD's like TwoTrees Saphire plus, Flying Bear Reborn 2 etc all on offer now, as no upgrade of Marlin on that hardware and even Klipper a no LCD option.

Could you please provide more information on this issue? I wasn't able to find more information but it would be interesting for me as I already own a Ronin Nano V3.0 with TS35 and I want to buy one more: V3.1 with TS35 V2.0
