It seems my first post was unclear as to why I was asking this question here. I'm asking if anyone with the Robin installed on a corexy machine has noticed this same thing. I'm not asking a corexy question I'm asking a Robin question when it is required to calculate the stepper moves for a corexy machine. It is likely easiest to find someone with a corexy machine controlled by a Robin here. Thanks for your time.
The issue was not related to the Robin, firmware, config or its calculations. The issue was related to the Polyurethane belts, replaced and now the travels are perfect. This issue is now resolved and is closed.
I built a corexy machine that is 500mm x 500mm x 500mm. I'm having an little issue and I'm wondering if anyone has seen it and fixed it. I was printing 4 quadcopter frames and the parts are distorted toward the front corners of the build plate. Instead of nice round prop guards I have oval ones but just in the front corners of the build plate. I wrote a little gcode script that moved the print head back and forth and I could see it does sort of an arc at the front 1/3 or front 1/4 of the build plate area and not a straight line. I also noticed in the past that when I homed the print head it would it moved to the right (on the X axis) and as it moved forward (on the Y axis) the print head continued to slowly move further right past the X home position.
For my warped parts I thought belts but it only happens at the front of the build plate which gets the same amount of actions as the back of the build plate. The back area is perfect. Any thoughts?
