I'm very new in electronic and I wold like to change ma step driver (A4988) with the supersilent TMC2209. But I have a problem. I'using an MKS TMC2209 v2.0 (UART) on a GT2560 v4.0 WITHOUT any jumper or possibility to use UART. I've tried to configure Marlin firmware but motors became very hot after secons and also the stepdriver became VERY hot. Is there any jumper setting or short circuit I have to do to make Stepdrive working in Steandalone mode? Another issue is that I cannot change Vref to values over 1V. Is it correct?
