CDIP 19 - Portal Content Redesign #543

There've been quite a few discussions around our content development. A few pain points:

  1. There are a large number of resources organized into categories, but it’s not clear how they flow together.
  2. We have no feedback loop for content usefulness
  3. Information overhead: we’re not sure how to structure our content as our resources grow

Proposal abstract: Scope is outlined here

Through a process of auditing, analysis of user needs/foundation objectives, and design, I’ll come up with a set of recommendations/resources for restructuring and improving the content. This will improve the platform as-is in a way that scales.

Potential deliverables that will be shared and discussed with the team as and when completed:

Will need some time and access to willing contributors for any research like: card sorting or quick guerrilla testing of prototypes

This work won’t include any writing or editing of content.

Cost | Resources: 50 DAI per hour / 3,000-3,500 Dai

The initial audit will guide the next deliverables, so the budget may expand a bit more when we have an understanding of what we will need.

Other resources: access to MakerDAO user research, Comm-Dev Google Analytics, potential access to contributors

Estimated time to completion: 2-3 weeks
