This is #122 and #123 combined along with the button feature re-imagined.
Instead of trying to make a buttons as a menu I made buttons as instruments. This ended up being a far better solution and does not conflict with existing features.
Did not want to send such a giant pull but I cannot continue making progress without putting it all together.
If you want to just merge this that would be great, if you want me to split it into smaller chunks we can do that to.
For now, I'm going to keep moving forward and updating this branch as I go.
Also, some of the screens in this might not work without the new FIX DB items that are in my pull request on that repo.
