Cannot connect to AUX ac #16

Homebridge appears to turn on/off or control temperature but AC does not respond. AC freedom works without issues. the IP and MAC address are correct. the same configuration used to work via homebridge previously and haven't done anything besides regular updates of the app and homebridge. Using latest verision 2.2.3. Could you lead me where to look for the issue? thanks a lot!

Forgot to mention what else I have done:

  1. reverted to previous verision of the plugin - no luck
  2. uninstalled and installed the plugin - checked also the folders on my raspberry Pi - no trace of files.
  3. rest AUX AC wifi module - removed from AC freedom and added again - about 10 times :)

AUX ac has OTA update, probably in last update developers change encryption/description protocol.

I'll try to add more logging info to exclude this problem.

@makleso6 looks like the latest OTA, 2.15, did break this plugin. Would really appreciate if you could take a look.

A little update, I followed this thread here https://github.com/liaan/broadlink_ac_mqtt/issues/76 and removed the AC from AC Freedom, reset it and tried to add again by sending the wifi credentials to the AC and then cancel at the naming stage. Now the AC is working again but without access on AC Freedom. Apparently there is some auth involved if the AC is connected with AC Freedom

@Mehmet89 did your AC connect to your network? are you able to ping it? does it show up in the AC Freedom app?

Everything works Fine. Only in Homebridge i can't Control the AC

You are not supposed to add the AC to the AC Freedom app. Leave the setup when it asks you to give your AC a name. Then try to add it to homebridge.

@ThisIsQasim Now it works with homebridge but not with Alexa 😀

Can you use together Homebride and AC Freedom or just Hombridge or AC Freedom?

Actually i can only use the AC Freedom App or Alexa Skill
