I saw others having issues here is my solution to the problem.

Added a tag for publishing the config for just maknz/slack and then instructions on the README.

@maknz take a look at this solution, I am not familiar with testing this code, but it may solve my issue #5

No replies closing Pull Req, theres many other PR's like mine out there, hopefully a good one is chosen. I had a hell of a time installing without this valuable documentation.
