- on the first page it is to allow quickly setting up project properties and clicking Finish
- the last page is the same as when adding the Vaadin facet to an existing project, and should allow selection of the version there
The combos should be synchronized, but there was a bug in the synchronization when downloading a new version. Fixed in [8647].
Reported by Marko Gronroos on 23 Aug 2009 15:45 UTC The "New Vaadin Project" wizard has a drop-down list box for selecting the Vaadin version together with a "Download" button both in the first and third steps.
Strangely, when I downloaded the "6.0.1" version from the button of the first wizard step, and it appeared in the drop-down list, it wasn't available in the drop-down list of the third step, not could you download it by clicking the Download button of that step.
I left the second appearance undocumented, though it does appear in the screenshot in the book. I can either document it, if it is supposed to be there, or remove it from the screenshot.
