Figure captions #113

This PR adds figure captions.

cc @cclarkson. I still need to cook up a caption for the tree figure, but feel free to merge first if it's convenient and I can add that later.

Btw I think these captions will need some further work as they are a bit cryptic at the moment (surprisingly hard to explain), but thought at least better to have some text in place.

Hi Chris, this is ready to review, the caption for the haplotype tree is still blank but I've actually been thinking that maybe worth cutting the haplotype age analysis altogether, it is difficult to explain and at the moment doesn't really add anything over and above the distance scan results. In any case, suggest merging this as-is, I will think a bit more about the haplotype age analysis and make a separate PR if I come to any conclusions.
