plot_sample_locations_map(sample_sets, sample_query, center, zoom)
plot_cohorts_map(sample_sets, sample_query, taxon, area_by, period_by, center, zoom)
plot_cohorts_interactive_map(sample_sets, sample_query, center, zoom)

Put pivot tables inside popups to show temporal and taxon representation.

If there was someway of producing cohort centre points or shapes on a map that could be coloured, it would make the interpretation of analyses like PCAs much easier.

Possibly related issue https://github.com/malariagen/malariagen-data-python/issues/473 We now have plot_sample_location_mapbox() and plot_sample_location_geo()
