Script Needs Updating To Allow Rapidshare Links

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

IceFilms now allows Rapidshare links which is awesome news but the addon needs 
updating... just a heads up! keep up the good work ;-)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
aTV currently 1.23

I agrree when i click on the movie i wanna watch i see no links. Its empty. Why 
is it taking them so lOng to update the script

1.0.24 is out...I just got the update on my XBMC on the PC but I can't get it 
on the ATV2 yet..is there a way to force it?

Re-install it, that's how I got it on my ATV2, and only RECENT ADDED will see 
RS links.

I have been waiting all day checking this every minute.. I need this update. 
half of the 2 shared updates don't work. I would like to get rapid share

Well i uninstalled icefilms, then reinstalled and it says i have updated to 
version 1.0.24, but chinking the links there are no rapidshare links still all 
2 shared. frustrating.

I am starting to see some of the RS links, there are not a lot the only place 
you can find them are in tv shows and movies recently added section. Not much 
right now, hopefully more will be added.

not sure if this will fix anything but i just tried this:

go to your icefilms and hold down the center button on your apple 
controller....it told me icefilms was updated and BAM 1.0.24 was there

I added the repository but no icefilms.info on my ATV2. I have it working on my 
comp though, XBMC Eden Beta 2.

projectfreetv FTW.  I miss all the MEGAUPLOAD links, they were the shit :(  
This 2shared crap, and RS links seem hopeless.  Hopefully they get better but 
for now.  HDMI out of my iMac into my 47" LED HDTV and watching it back on the 
big screen.  I Wonder wny icefilms does not get the sources from elsewhere?  
There are tons of streaming links that still work even tho Megaupload is down.

Hi, somebody knows how to update my icefilms 1.0.21? I bought the apple tv with 
everything on it. And the guy who put all the add ons incl. icefilms lives very 
far away and cant reach him.. Please somebody?

It's very simple. On XBMC go to Videos -> Add-Ons -> Get More... -> (Then 
Scroll down to Icefilms) Icefilms -> Update.

This is assuming you are using XBMC Eden

That's the point! Icefilms is not in that list:S Its really frustrating, i am 
hours trying.. and also i downladed the new zip 1.0.24 but i think the guy who 
did everything for me locked it somehow, i dont know how to get the film in my 
homenetwork on my apple tv... imaybe someone can tell me how to link my apple 
tv with my imac? I just downloaded pwnage tools... but now it doesnt have the 
right firmware...

I  updated the icefilms to version 1.0.24 but when I click on movies it doesn't 
load and then shows script error. Anybody know how to fix this issue?

That's all I've been getting too, script errors, with version 1.0.24. I can see 
movie and tv show titles, and search, but clicking on a specific show or movie 
shows a script error every time.

I think ive found another way to update icefilms....go into xbmc...go to 
system....settings....available updates...and look for icefilms....seems to 
work for a few people

First and foremost my ATV 2G updated on it's own when I restarted it with the 
newest Beta 2 Eden 11.0. I uninstalled Icefilms and reinstalled it immediately. 
After that I went into Addon settings for Icefilms and noticed in account there 
was now no Megaupload to log into but Rapidpro. I clicked there and the circle 
filled in with blue. I exited back to home and went to Icefilms and no more 
error. Give it a shot. This may be an easy remedy. Either way mine is now 
actually playing 2SHARED movies where it wouldn't before.

ok got mine fixed.. heres how i did it:

ssh into 

private/var/mobile/library/preferences/xbmc/addons/plugin.video.icefilms/mega

RENAME (not delete) megaroutines.py and megaroutines.pyc to something else. 
JUST DONT DELETE THEM.

Restart xbmc and load up icefilms search for  movie... you will get an error... 
Dont close XBMC.

rename the two files BACK to original names, then in XBMC search again.

This worked for me BUT.... its making me wait 329 seconds for the movie to 
stream, which although isnt a lifetime, is a pain in the ass.

My 2shared links started to work when i updated icefilms in apple tv. But with 
no exaggeration its shit to the 100 billionth degree!

Streams for about 30 secs then buffers for 2 mins etc..... and thats on a 50MB 
connection.

Rapid Share files are working well.  I would not be surprised that 2Shared 
probably wants people to buy in at premium level. if they had a better rep-they 
charge your card automatically/monthly and  not so easy to cancel from what I 
have read, and a low trial fee, I bet you would see a difference. Even 
Megaupload was faster when you went premium. I get maybe one 2Shared file a 
day, then you are probably on a long wait list before you can connect again, 
but even that has been inconsistent. Even on my laptop or desktop, its the same 
as with ATV2.

Rapid share streams like hell. 2shared almost doesn work.
Could it be because i am using my atv 2 wireless? you think that plugging it to 
the router will fix this?
