Icefilms Metadata will not download. Shows script Error #117

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fresh Jailbreak
2. Install XBMC Eden Beta
3. Install Icefilms 1.0.24 (does not attempt to download metadata)
4. Uninstall 1.0.24 and Install Icefilms 1.0.22 (attempts to download 230Mb of
metadata, but get script error)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should be downloading 230Mb of metadata for Icefilms, but shows script error
before downloading.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ATV2

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried fresh installs of all Icefilms repositories and XBMC. I feel if
maybe I did not upgrade to XBMC Beta this may not be happening, but not sure.
Thanks in advance!

The metadata install has been disabled per the changelog on 1/20/12. This is
temporary until they fix the errors.

No kidding. I've exchanged the ATV2 for a new one, changed my IP, tried from a
friends house, and nothing was working. If this is the case, do you know of a
workaround as the old metadata is still functioning fine on other ATV2's I have
set up? Thank you very much for the information though, much appreciated!

There is no current work around buddy, just got to be patient until it gets
fixed. By the way a new install on XBMC Eden and Icefilms is way faster to load
menus etc.

I am still having this problem as of today, September 15, 2012. Is there a fix
or workaround?
