Thunderbird freezes when clicking on the button without any message selected #2

When a message is selected and we click on the button "Open Conversation", the thread is open in a new tab. No bug of course. However, if we click (not on purpose) the button when no message is selected, Thunderbird starts freezing and slowing for a while.

That's right, confirmed.

However I don't know how to fix this. Thanks anyway for the report. I'll keep it open.
