*_SIMPLE_CAR_STATE not publishing?

From the UI, it seems that there is nothing being published on the *_SIMPLE_CAR_STATE topics. This can be because:

We are effectively not publishing things (but then some tests should be failing and they are all green).
The UI is somehow not recognizing the contents and hence marking as nothing is being published. Note that SimpleCarState is a custom message (i.e. one that doesn't come from Ignition messages) so maybe that is the culprit (cc @caguero @clalancette for info).

@nventuro assigning this to you as you are the one that did the big refactoring on the backend.

Here's a pull request that updates the TopicsStats widget to show stats of custom Protobuf messages.

Just tested locally and it works great! We're still missing the info on the TopicViewer though.

I know and I'm looking into that but is non-trivial.
