I have a replacement Motorola Droid X2 and exported the information in the
Notepad on the old phone to the SD card. The notification was "9 notes to
'/mnt/sdcard/notepad" when complete. The exporting apparently worked fine.
When I put the SD card and battery in the replacement phone and tried to import
the notes from the SD card, the message was, "0 notes to '/mnt/sdcard/notepad"
and no notes were imported from the SD card. Somebody please help me get the
notes off the SD card and imported into the new phone. Please contact me at
cottinghmj@aol.com as I don't normally read my Google account email.

I have the same problem, which renders the program pretty much useless. I'm
sorry I installed this software, because now it'll take days to backup my phone.

Is your company dealing with this or not? I would really like to upload files
to my computer or at least know why this isn't working

should we keep spamming until they answer? Some of these comments are going to
be approaching a year old..... Ironic how the latest update says updating is
now available... what phones are y'all using? I've got an LG optimus elite.....

This is the original person to start this thread. Pretty amazing that someone
could have an app out there and never respond to its customers, even after a
year. The saddest part about it is that people put their ideas that could be
very important to them into this app then have no way of moving them to a more
permanent place like a desktop hard drive. Over a year later and I still have
those notes on my old phone, I don't even use anymore. This app to me is
definitely not worth using and the customer support is obviously lacking. I
will say two more things before I get off here, I haven't upgraded or tried to
export lately, but judging by the people still having the same issues I'm
assuming its still not resolved, I had an Optimus v phone btw. Another thing
I'll say is maybe they just aren't getting these messages, which seems
surprising, you would think an app developer would check this stuff. The last
thing I'll say is I don't think people should release apps if they have
problems like this one did, until they get the kinks out. To all the fellow
posters, sorry you had to go through this non sense just like I did, I've got
lots of ideas on there, guess ill have to go back one day and spend two hours
or so typing them all into a word processor, which really sucks. But I guess
next time ill check all the functions of an app before I use it as much as I
used this one. I just thought since it had good reviews at the time you could
trust it to be a functioning app.

Not sure about the Export Problems but I fixed the Import after Export
problems. You need to move the .txt files from your SDCard (location that
notepad exported them to) to the internal phone memory (location where it wants
to import from). I copied the notepad folder on my SDCard and replaced the
notepad folder on my internal phone memory with them. Then I went into the
program and hit Import again. It appears to be looking in the wrong location.

tried the method that ianrtagg stated above, works great. just move your notes
from the SD card notepad to the device storage notepad, copy and paste. then
open notepad app, go to preferences and import notes from your SD card. they
all will then show up in your notepad app. works on Samsung galaxy S4. thanks
