Although the bomb is fading the main problem would be that no animation is still yet added. Hence such effect my opinion would be that animation would cover such state. So basically there what should be implemented is an explosion sprite that is triggered once it hits the fish or any surface that it touches. However the effect would only be enabled for the bomb only. The other game object such as the oil spill and harpoon would remain in a default effect.
Why does the bomb fade when the fish collects it ? Will you be implementing an explosion to the bomb animation to create a more realistic look?
