When having many spools the dropdown list for selecting the current spools get quickly very messy. I suggest hiding the empty spools here to make it more compact and clear. An option to activate/deactivate this feature would also probably a good idea for people who want to select an empty spool (for whatever reason).

Hide the empty spools in the dropdown list to make it more compact.

Deleting the spools could be an option however this breaks consistency and logging of data.
