Phoenix - Landing page #1

Background

Phoenix is a Patreon-like platform for creators running on the EOS/WAX blockchain. There is an existing frontend that has received a redesign and some features are missing for the beta version.

Job

The job is to redesign the landing page to match the designs. The data is fetched from the blockchain and the data fetching calls already exist.

Actually, I am a noob to the world of react. Although, I have experience with other languages, but react is quite new for me. After having a look at the design given, I think I should probably get a chance to do this and I am confident that I will be able to complete the project within the specified period of time. Hi!

I have 3 years experience in react/redux and web3 technologies.

I would use create-react-app, create video components for 'Today's Picks' and turn that section with background of white into a view.

For 'Discover Trending Creators', I would again turn that section into a view and create card components for the list of creators.

I would populate the content using web3 calls, and if additional information, like font-size, font-family, or logo location is available through such a call, i can make those dynamically.

I would use styled-components.
