This feels wrong, I think downstream projects should rather specify 2.0.0rc? instead directly. What do people think?

when rc1 released and leaked to setup-micromamba, there were still a lot of issues that i observed from just the 2h alone. i unfortunately couldn't find enough time to create a reproducer/issue report though
