The entire codebase (as merged) seems to be built with the assumption that there's a supervisor, and that components will always initiate connections to this supervisor, as will clients; the supervisor is the only thing listening. This is not necessarily the case in the mPlane protocol.

Added as_daemon to allow mpcom and mpsup to have different runloops with http listener component.
