...does not appear to follow the protocol specification:

there's a new registered key in parts of the response
HTTP status code 428 seems to be reused to mean "please reregister"

Modify the code to follow the specification, or append the specification if underspecified ("please reregister" seems like a useful thing for a client to say)

another one obviated by #7: don't really care too much about this if the whole component-initiated HTTP thing goes away...
