Summary: Creating an installation script.
Necessary for beta (internally tested first variation by end-of-October): Yes
Details: One script should install the toolkit if necessary, and then run it (it should also restart the toolkit). Currently, the process is not production-ready. An effort was begun during #3 , but this (or a different script) needs to be fully automated in terms of automation and check that things were setup up correctly. Comprehensive error messages and required actions should be displayed upon failure (use color coding) but take care that user actions should be minimal at best.
There may be a different script per supported OS, and ideally these should be packed as OS executables.
