I can ping Alla to give a quick heads up if you want
@brandonnodnarb can you get one from Zenodo?
I think the repository needs to be open first... let me check.
Yes, repo needs to be open, per: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/archiving-a-github-repository/referencing-and-citing-content
Do we want to create a release? Creating a DOI via Zenodo essentially creates a archived checkpoint anyway so perhaps it is irrelevant.
have one branch to sync and push.
Are there any cleanup tasks that need to be completed prior to opening?
I have requested third-party access to the manaakiwhenua org from Zenodo. I assume this goes to Ben and/or Tom.
I'll let you know what happens.

We should be able to do this as soon as the report is delivered?

Not from my end. I have synced the content of the edited report and the GH repo.

Do you want to merge anything into main
?

I asked for this a couple of weeks ago, and haven't heard anything yet
Ben approved the request for third-party access to Zenodo. It appears only owners can push to Zenodo as I can see other MWLR repositories in the list of repos available to me to preserve, but not this one.
@alpha-beta-soup either you will need to sort it or make me an owner/admin so I have rights to do so.
@brandonnodnarb I've made you an admin
the Zenodo webhook is failing with an HTTP 409 error code. I am investigating.
Done.
DOI is https://zenodo.org/doi/10.5281/zenodo.12659958
Had to update CITATION.cff and a few other bits.
When this repository is opened up it should have a DOI (versioned) and a CITATION.cff file.
DOI can come from Zenodo or generated from MWLR's DOI minting service (Alla?).
Zenodo 'we' control. MWLR's service is run via Library services (not our control). Also, if we want this to be open to everyone the optics of a Zenodo DOI may be less...subliminal. :)
