Flare vm tools folder empty #450

Description

In the GUI of the download when I first downloaded I had a lot of options under To Install but it would fail because the common.vm was not downloaded. I finally got it downloaded but after installed it everything disappeared and for some reason NuGet is not able to contact source which has been there since the beginning.

Steps to Reproduce

I downloaded the flare install file I went through the process of running it I had to manually install chocolatey and boxstarter Then when it got to the GUI having everything it would not continure because of common.vm After the machine finally installed that all the tool options dissapeared

Expected behavior:

To have all the tools downloaded

Actual behavior:

Empty folders

Environment

It is on virtual box with a windows 10 OS. I have disabled all the firewalls and the defender. Any help is appreciated.

Additional Information

This is for a school project so a response back would be preferred quickly.

Hm, are there any networking issues you are encountering? Looks like the installer cannot connect properly.

It looks like a connection issue. I think we should indicate this better in the UI or provide a default.

The actual internet connection is fine in the machine. I had no issues downloading anything.

The error says it is not able to reach the URL, have you tried to re-run the installer and to access that concrete URL manually?
