Do you mean the metadata of the czi file? or the metadata in the log file? Is there a position metadata in the lsm files? MyPiC does not run the experiment as a multiposition experiment so I am not sure if also single position experiments keep the XY stage positions.
I mean metadata in czi files. Single position experiments keep them when launched manually.
In lsm files seems to be no such metadata, but czi files contain them.
Of course one can make use of log files of MyPic (what we currently try to do), but this requires additional scripting and makes things much more complicated.
I have realised, that in czi files acquired using the macro have x and y stage positions in the metadata equal to 0. This not happens when images with the same settings are acquired manually.
The problem is observed with LSM880, but I also checked some older data from LSM780 and it seems that those files also have missing stage position values.
Is it known problem? Will it be possible to correct? Is it because files are saved using VB or is it something specific for MyPic?
If needed, I can provide example data.
