According to https://travis-ci.org/globalbioticinteractions/mangal/jobs/637722849#L224 https://mangal.io/api/v2/reference/172 as referenced in https://mangal.io/api/v2/network/2462 contains found malformed doi [2433/156407].
It appears that somehow, the last two parts of the reference url https://repository.kulib.kyoto-u.ac.jp/dspace/handle/2433/156407 were incorrectly interpreted as a doi.
