Hand of Sacrifice and Divine Sacrifice #1025

Closed Weqrex closed 12 years ago

Generally speaking, those skills are used by a paladin to break cc's like polymorph (mage), ice trap (hunter), blind (rogue), etc

But the fact of breaking those cc's is not working.

A user made this video showing the bug. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ6XJ7qgpJQ

Regards

I did not find in the Net no similar evidence (for 3.3.5). spell cannot have any special attribute for this. without any confirmation no sence to open issue.

Confirm, this issue is given by this problem #873 :

" Absorb + broken ccs, bug again :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTHIqM6-7Qs "

raynar commented 12 years ago

I think that this bug was fixed in old, old mangos. But with WOTLK branch it was broken again :(

rsa commented 12 years ago

not related to #873 - spells in his has special mechanics for remove CC, but work only partially. in this - no confirmation.

I did videos with the same bug in r2 server test, but I thought that the video that a user made was a solid evidence... I can upload them if you want.

Information? easy http://www.wowwiki.com/Hand_of_Sacrifice

''Hand of Sacrifice can be used to avoid being the victim of Crowd Control in PvP. Bless a person who is quite likely to draw enemy fire. This way, if you're afflicted by Polymorph, Sap, Repentance or any other of incapacitating effect, the damage transferred to you would break Crowd Control. ''

And with divine sacrifice says the same.

rsa commented 12 years ago

ergo - please, write issue correctly. not "those skills are used by a paladin to break cc's", but "the damage transferred to paladin (under this effects) would break Crowd Control". this two sentence has very high difference...

Weqrex commented 12 years ago

You are right, but I wrote this issue referring to pvp, sorry for this missunderstanding.

So, as you said, ''the damage transferred to paladin (under this effects) would break Crowd Control" and in r2 the damage don't break Crowd Control :P
