As a Help Seeker,
I want to see the number of services available in each category and subcategory
So that I have a sense of how many options are available.
As a Help Seeker,
I want to implement navigation of subcategories
so that a user can easily find the specific resource they need.
Notes
The taxonomy file represents your set of categories and subcategories. Note that taxonomy was an afterthought for the Ohana team, so this is a known unknown in terms of existing functionality.
Level 1 - B: Basic Needs
Level 2 - BD: Food
Level 3 - BD-1800: Emergency Food
Level 4 - BD-1800.1500: Commodity Supplemental Food Program
We were given an Excel spreadsheet from Switchboard that has a list of all possible categories in Levels 3 and 4. A list of Levels 1 and 2 can be seen at their existing resource directory platform. We will need to figure out if we use a simplified taxonomy to help people find what they need.
