Multiple notifications for same text US Cellular #364

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive a text
2. Fail to clear the SMS Popup within a minute or so
3. Multiple popups will appear - approximately 5-6

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-One popup per SMS received, regardless of whether the phone is attended to or 
not. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
1.2.4
Android 2.3
US Cellular (CDMA carrier) 

Please provide any additional information below
I had this problem, along with the timestamp problem, with the previous version 
of this app as well. When I made a report, I was provided with a beta apk of an 
interim version of this app called something like 1.2.2-beta -timestamp. That 
one eliminated both problems, but when I installed this 1.2.4 version, both 
problems returned.
