popup stays in system and reapears #365

my popup works fine. but, more times than not when i get a popup the last popup 
i got shows up, i have to close that popup to see the new one. sometimes i have 
to close out three and four popups deep. its like there not really deleting.  i 
have a motorola photon, my wife has a samsung galaxy s2 and they both do this. 
i am aware that you have to disable notifications in the texting app. and i 
tried disabling quick reply.

photon uses android 2.3.5 and galaxy s uses ice cream sandwitch
