Notification counter does not reset - Samsung Galaxy S3 #380

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
On the tmobile, reading the text in SMS popup does not clear the notification
counter.

I could have read all my messages, and the counter will still have a number.
This number is stuck until I clear the data for the messaging app.

The messaging app is unstable with SMS popup.

I've got this happening for me too, I'm using Alcatel OneTouch Idol 6030X.
There's no badgeprovider thing on mine, and I've tried the other solutions
listed here to no avail. Anyone got another solution?

On my S3 it use to start new everyday when counting email messages in my yahoo
mail account. Now...Even if i delete all my messages it does not reset. when it
reached 99 it now says 99+ even with no new messages and all the old ones
deleted.
