Language option cannot be changed permanently #85

Describe the bug The new option for language choosing doesn't work and it only temporarily changes. It reverts back to Tamil.

Basic information

Spell4Wiki Version:2.0
Android Version:13.0
Device Name: Samsung TabS8
Wikimedia Commons Username (optional):

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to 'Search page and search for a term'
Click on 'language option (Tamil default) and change language'
Choose an article to open
Article opens in Tamil instead of the chosen language.
Close app and see that it reverted back to default (Tamil)

Expected behavior Language chosen should remain unchanged.
